On this page you will find a brief description of the therapy techniques I use

When you come to see me for support there are any
number of techniques I will use to help you. I may use them individually or a combination. For the greatest effectiveness
I tailor the therapies to suit you and your problem.
I usually conclude your appointment with a session of
relaxing hypnotherapy allowing your subconscious mind
to make those positive changes whilst tying
all the other therapies I have given you together.


Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a totally natural state - It is a state that we enter into many times during a normal day.  When we day dream or become engrossed in our favourite T.V. Programme, we enter a state of hypnosis.


All hypnosis is self-hypnosis - The therapist is just a guide or a teacher, teaching you how to reach a really wonderful deep state of relaxation.No one can be hypnotised against their wishes or made to do anything against their will.There is nothing mystical or magical
about it.


Hypnotherapy is a healing therapy - Our bodies need to relax to recharge their ‘batteries’.Twenty minutes of hypnotherapy can be as revitalising as eight hours of sleep.


What does experiencing hypnosis feel like? - It is like slipping into a warm bath or lying on the beach in the sun, you feel so comfortable and relaxed, you know that you can open your eyes at any time but you just feel too comfortable to bother.  It is that feeling you have between being asleep and awake, when you are just about to drift off or just about to wake up.  No one can become ‘stuck’ in an hypnotic state, it is natural to awaken when ready.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

EFT, sometimes call "awake hypnosis" is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture. It is a non evasive therapy and does not use needles but a way of tapping these points using the finger tips, whilst voicing affirmations which then clear the emotional block, thus restoring a balance of mind and body. It is particularly effective with overcoming cravings, anxieties, stress and pain but can be used for a wide variety of ailments.


Parts Therapy

Do you constantly feel as if you are being held back and unable to free yourself from that unwanted behaviour, those negative emotions, thoughts or feelings? Through Parts Therapy I can help you pinpoint the issues that are holding you back, freeing emotional blocks and breaking unwanted thought patterns, enabling you to break free and get your life back.


Relaxation Therapy Sessions

Are suitable for everyone whether you have a problem to work through or not. As the name implies it is a deeply relaxing  and soothing therapy. Twenty to thirty minutes of deep relaxation therapy is as rejuvenating as 8 hours of sleep.We all need to relax occasionally, a time for our bodies and minds to catch up with themselves. Today’s lifestyles can be stressful and demanding with no time to stop and think. A session of relaxation therapy gives you time to catch up with yourself. It will help you regain balance and help you see things, especially things that have been worrying you, in a far more positive light, enabling you to cope better with all the stresses and strains that life throws at you. So go on, pamper yourself!

Motivational Therapy

Regression Therapy

Throughout our life we may well be faced with many obstacles and difficulties, some  can be more traumatic than others. Our minds have an inbuilt ‘safety switch’ that tends to help us cope with daunting and stressful issues. Sometimes this safety switch turns off completely and helps us to block out events that it perceives to be too traumatic at the time. But the mind never forgets. When it is faced with certain stimulus the safety switch kicks in and can cause all sorts of problems to try and protect you from what is happening.These problems can manifest themselves as panic/anxiety attacks or phobias. Through regression therapy we can trace the problem to the initialising event.  By uncovering the event we can change the mind’s response to it and break the chain for good-

Past Life Regression Therapy

Have you been here before?  Bhuddists believe that we live many lives and learn from each one, drawing upon wisdom from one life to the next.  What ever you believe Past Life Regression (PLR) is a fascinating subject.  People have been known to go into ‘past lives’ and come up with historical information which has proven to be true.  Whether you are interested in reliving a past life just for fun or if you want to work through certain problems, it can be a very healing and worthwhile process.




For appointments held at Naturally Gifted, 48 hours notice of cancellation is required, appointments cancelled with less notice are subject to an adminstration fee of £10.00.

Missed appointments without prior notice incur an administration charge equal to the normal fee for the therapy session.
